Event Activities
All activities are open and free to the public ($5 suggested donation to the Soupfest).
FREE HEALTH SCREENINGS! 10 am - 1 pm
Take advantage of these important screenings at three venues on Grove StreetAt Historical Society: All screenings here are offered by Monadnock Community Hospital
- Blood pressure - Learn your blood pressure to avoid risk of uncontrolled high levels, which can lead to serious cardiovascular issues.
- Cholesterol - A blood test to determine good and bad levels of cholesterol. Abnormal cholesterol is a danger that should be addressed.
- Blood sugar - A blood test to screen for abnormal or high blood sugar levels, which can be dangerous.
- Spirometry - A respiratory therapist will assess your lung function, explain your results and make recommendations for next steps.
- Body Fat Analysis - Learn what percentage of your body is muscle, bone and soft tissue vs. body fat and what is considered a healthy percentage.
- Posture analysis - Learn more about your standing and sitting posture and discover simple ways to improve. Posture is an important part of your overall health.
- Foot Clinic - A nurse will evaluate your feet, answer questions and provide a gentle 10 minute massage. Be good to your feet!
- Skin analysis - A test that uses special imaging to show facial skin damage that is invisible to the naked eye. Learn how to protect your skin.

Local restaurants, caterers, and organizations compete for Best Soup, Best Bread, and Best Presentation. Come sample savory and healthy soups and bread and cast your vote for your favorite. Dog Parade!
Bring your dog and your friends to participate in this fun parade around town. Please leave your retractable leashes at home. A 6' or 8' lead would be best. Prizes will be awarded for best dog costume and pet/owner look-alike! U.S. Representative Charlie Bass will lead the parade.

The Monadnock Petfest is presented by the Monadnock Rotary Club, which meets at the Dublin Community Church in Dublin, New Hampshire on Tuesday mornings at 7:30. Visitors are always welcome.
