Our Mission and Goals
The Monadnock Rotary Club is dedicated to community service, with a special focus on youth development and health advocacy for people of all ages, locally and internationally. We
serve "The Monadnock Region of New Hampshire."
Members of the Monadnock Rotary Club meet most Tuesday mornings at 7:30 at the Dublin Community Church in Dublin, NH. Visitors are welcome.
| Monadnock Wellness Festival September 26, 2009. Join us for the Fourth Annual Wellness Festival from 9:00am - 2:00pm in downtown Peterborough, New Hampshire. This festival is free and designed for the whole family. Building on this year's theme of "Know Your Numbers" you'll find something for everyone - from healthy food and ideas for living well, to exercise classes and health screenings, to the delicious Soup Fest. RYLA The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a day-long program of leadership training for high school juniors and seniors from New Hampshire and Vermont. Activities include training in team building, decision making, and public speaking. The event is November 22, 2008 aat the Boston University Sargent Center for Outdoor Education in Hancock, NH. | Centennial Project 2005 was the Centennial Celebration of Rotary International, the largest charitable organization in the world with over 30,000 chapters. Our centennial project was chosen because it supported our mission as a program for youth and health for people of all ages. We raised funds for a concession trailer for the Conval High School that can be used to provide healthy food to the sports teams at home and away. Learn more... |
Rotary Foundation The Rotary Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that supports the efforts of Rotary International to achieve world understanding and peace through international humanitarian, educational, and cultural exchange programs. It is supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world. We contribute every year to support the growth of this fund and apply for matching funds for local projects to benefit our community. Learn more... |
